So I look out the patio door about mid-morning and I see my neighbor hustling back and forth to the garage. I assume she's doing some work on her car (she has an older Cadi she's working on) and when I ask her she just smiles. OK, good work to you.

Then I go out to grab some lunch a few hours later, and lo and behold, she has added more scary to her yard!

Bats flying around above the graves. Yea, yea. S'alright.

Aw man! That is so cool, severed fingers strung up over the door.
OK, I admit--real nice!

We haven't been totally inactive. Found some cool skeletal hands at a dollar store to add to the graves.

Added a skeleton to the haunted tree.

And added a big scary ghost in the middle of yard, welcoming all. (Actually used the lamppost in the yard.)

I like what we've done--and I think we still have a little more to go. But I have to give props, little neighbor has some serious creep going on.

How much more can we do? Stay tuned!

OK, the demon here is rocking it, I must say!  Kinda of nasty, coming out from behind the bush like that!

I don't think my 8-year-old is digging it as much as I, but I knew we'd have to go for a little more "evil" in the yard. I'm especially pleased that that I didn't have to buy anything for this. I used stuff I had,  everyday stuff and some Halloween stuff from years previous.

Today's addition, I like. I fat spider coming down from the tree. This one was fun to make and I like the look. I got it coming down the tree on its web too. Nice company for the ghosts.

We did some more work on the tombstones, so they are standing free now ( a cool and cheap trick to that--kabob skewers), dressed with a tarantula and black flowers. Still more for this however.

Oh, and I know (I'm talking to you Howard!) the tombstones aren't as polished as they might, but you HAVE to let the kids participate and create so it's fun for them too.

My "competition" has resorted to dismembered limbs and digits through her flower pots and beds. Drat!

Slowed a little on the campaign. But I did spruce up the giant spider egg. Eeewwww! We made this last year.

And testing out the Ghostly lights. They are nice with the tea candles inside (pictured here), but they really buzz with the Christmas icicle lights stuffed in them, but I haven't quite worked out how I want to do that.

OK, I got up a bunch of ghosts today and my giant spider egg. Still a little slow going-I don't really have the Halloween graveyard going on it yet. Soccer practice.

Coming home from school, my nephew said the house was cool. I told him we weren't done yet. I think he was a little appalled.

I'm digging my flying ghosts. I have several hanging/flying around the tree. Using fishing wire was a great idea--they look like they're hovering around and haunting the tree.

This is as far as we got yesterday. It took some time to do the tombstones and the giant spider--which is my favorite.
